Lake Havasu City is located on the Arizona shoreline of Lake Havasu where the world-famous original London Bridge crosses over to a small island in the Colorado River.  The Bridge serves as a backdrop to the English Village that has grown up around it.  The village consists of Tudor-style buildings and quaint shops that create an atmosphere of Medieval England.  It celebrated its official grand opening at its new Arizona home in Lake Havasu City in October, 1971.
